About JKC

JKC Artist Group is a Nashville-based artist management and consulting group founded and owned by Jennifer Cooke.

Jennifer Cooke

As an aspiring young professional, Jennifer Cooke was intent on finding a way to merge her business acumen with her passion for the entertainment industry. Upon her graduation from the University of California Los Angeles, she gained experience working under some of the top managers in the music business before moving to Nashville to join the management team of Blanton & Harrell in 1989. Over the next decade, she would become largely responsible for the career direction of Christian and pop superstar Amy Grant, resulting in her becoming partner at Blanton, Harrell, Cooke & Corzine in 2002, with Grant as her primary client. In 2009, Cooke launched her own management and consulting company, JKC Artist Group, continuing to manage Amy Grant as well as newer Christian artists Jon Guerra and Josh Wright, and pop/rap duo DNK. Cooke also devotes herself to her work with The American Red Cross as a consultant to its Celebrity and Entertainment Outreach Program. In an ever-changing business, she maintains a firm belief in the far-reaching impact of the music and entertainment industry, and consistently prioritizes the integrity of the artists she represents above all else. Cooke resides in Nashville with her two greatest accomplishments – her son, Braden, and her daughter, Lilyana.

Brooks Parker

As a lifelong musician, Brooks Parker has spent decades exploring the many facets of the music industry. After graduating from Belmont University in 2007 with a degree in Commercial Music, he began pursuing work on both the creative and business sides of music. He spent two years as a Music & Talent Coordinator for the Gospel Music Channel, now called UpTV, before finding a home at JKC Artist Group. During his time at JKC Artist Group, Parker has assisted Jennifer Cooke in the management of Amy Grant and has been instrumental in acquiring and developing JKC Artist Group’s newer acts – Jon Guerra, Josh Holiday, and DNK.  In addition to his work within JKC Artist Group, he is also a member of the Gospel Music Association Honors Committee, the Friends of the Arts at Belmont University board, and enjoys participating in other events and projects within the Nashville music community. Parker enjoys the many challenges artist management presents, and is excited about JKC Artist Group’s growing roster and the adventures ahead. He makes his home in Nashville with his wife, Chelsea, and their daughter, Harlow.
